RBS - £200 Switch Bonus

Overview

Royal Bank of Scotland is running a £200 switching offer that mirrors the NatWest one (both are owned by NatWest Group). Pay in £1,250 within 60 days, log in to the app, and the £200 lands within 30 days.

The offer is open-ended (no fixed end date in the official T&Cs), but may be withdrawn at any time.

How to Claim

1. Click the link on this page to apply for an RBS Select or Reward account (Premier accounts don't qualify)
2. Start a full CASS switch from another bank
3. Within 60 days of the switch completing, log in to the RBS mobile app
4. Within the same 60 days, pay in at least £1,250 (multiple payments count, including money moved across in the switch; each payment must stay in for 24 hours)
5. Receive £200 within 30 days of meeting the criteria

Requirements

• New RBS current account customer
• Must not have held an RBS current account as of 6 May 2026 (you can't switch in from RBS, NatWest or Ulster Bank)
• Must not have received any prior switching bonus from the NatWest Group
• 18+ and UK resident
• Full CASS switch closing your old account
• £1,250 paid in within 60 days
• Mobile app login within 60 days of the switch completing (online banking alone doesn't count)
• No fixed deadline (offer may be withdrawn at any time)

Important Notes

• You can only claim the bonus from one of NatWest, RBS or Ulster — they share a single bonus rule across the group
• If you've never had a NatWest Group account before, this is interchangeable with the NatWest offer — pick whichever you prefer
• The £1,250 can be withdrawn once it has been in the account for 24 hours
• Premier Select, Premier Reward, Reward Black, Student/Graduate and Foundation accounts don't qualify, including if you convert to one before the £200 is paid
