Lloyds - £200 Switch Bonus (Club Lloyds)

Overview

Lloyds Bank is one of the UK's biggest high-street banks, and its Club Lloyds account comes with a yearly perk (Disney+, cinema tickets, a magazine subscription or Coffee Club membership) plus interest on balances up to £5,000. Open a new Club Lloyds, Club Lloyds Silver, Club Lloyds Platinum or Lloyds Premier account and switch a current account from another bank to it using the Current Account Switch Service (CASS), bringing 3 active Direct Debits, and Lloyds pays £200 within 14 working days of the switch starting.

The offer launched on 17 September 2026 and runs until 9 December 2026 — the account must be opened and the switch started by then. Lloyds can pull it earlier without notice. It sits alongside the other live deals in our bank-switching playbook.

How to Claim

1. Click the 'Get This Offer' button and apply for a new Club Lloyds account (the fee-free-in-practice pick — see Tips). Applications can be made online, in the app, in branch or by phone.
2. When asked, choose to switch an existing account and enter the details of a current account you hold with another bank. Lloyds uses CASS, so the old account is closed as part of the switch.
3. Make sure at least 3 active Direct Debits are on the old account before you start — they move across as part of the switch.
4. Start the switch by 9 December 2026. Once the switch begins and the conditions are met, the £200 appears in your new account as a cash credit within 14 working days.

Requirements

• UK resident, 18+
• Open a new Club Lloyds, Club Lloyds Silver, Club Lloyds Platinum or Lloyds Premier account between 17 September and 9 December 2026 — converting an existing Lloyds account doesn't count
• Full CASS switch from a current account at another bank (not Halifax or Bank of Scotland, and not another Lloyds account)
• 3 active Direct Debits transferred with the switch — Direct Debits set up after the switch starts, standing orders and recurring card payments don't count
• Must not have received a switching bonus from Lloyds, Halifax or Bank of Scotland since 1 January 2023 (applies to either holder of a joint account)
• Your old bank must be a CASS participant

Important Terms

• One payment per person; a joint account receives a single £200
• Club Lloyds carries a £5 monthly fee, refunded in any month you pay in £2,000 or more. Silver (£11.50/month) and Platinum (£22.50/month) add packaged-account fees on top that are not refundable
• Lloyds Premier also qualifies but needs £5,000 paid in each month or £100,000 in qualifying savings/investments
• Student, Smart Start, Under 19s, Basic, Classic, Silver and Platinum (non-Club) accounts are excluded
• Offer can be changed or withdrawn without notice

Tips

• Pick plain Club Lloyds and either pay in £2,000 a month (it can go straight back out) or accept the £5 fee for a month or two — the £200 dwarfs it. Close or downgrade to Classic once the bonus has landed
• Set up 3 cheap Direct Debits on a burner account (e.g. a Chase secondary account) and let them collect once before switching — Lloyds only counts Direct Debits that are already active on the old account
• Claim the Club Lloyds yearly perk (Disney+ Standard with Ads is the popular pick) as soon as the account opens — it's yours even if you later downgrade
• If you had a Lloyds, Halifax or Bank of Scotland switch bonus in 2023 or later you're out this round — but anyone paid before 1 January 2023 is eligible again
