Klarna Debit - Free £10 for Topping Up & Spending

Overview

Klarna Debit is Klarna's free debit card, and new customers can earn £10 cashback by making 3 qualifying retail transactions of £10 or more. The £10 lands in your Klarna cashback balance and can be withdrawn instantly to any bank account.

How to Claim

1. Sign up for a Klarna Debit card via the 'Get This Offer' button
2. Top up your Klarna account (you'll need around £30 to cover the qualifying purchases)
3. Make 3 transactions of £10 or more at retail merchants
4. £10 lands in your Klarna cashback balance after the 3rd transaction
5. Withdraw to any UK bank account

What Counts as a Qualifying Transaction

Klarna's referral terms (updated 28 May 2026) exclude a long list of purchase types, judged by the merchant category code (MCC). Crucially, gift card purchases and top-ups are explicitly excluded (loading value on prepaid or gift cards), as are money transfers, payments to financial accounts (Trading 212, Revolut, Monzo etc.), bill payments and fees.

The 3 qualifying transactions must be genuine retail purchases of £10+ — groceries, coffee shops, online shopping and similar everyday spending. Returned or cancelled orders lose the reward.

Important Terms

• Transactions must be £10 or more each (raised from £5 in July 2026 — older guides still say £5)
• Gift card top-ups, money transfers, bill payments and payments to financial accounts do not qualify (judged by merchant category code)
• Reward is paid as cashback, not bank credit
