GAIL's Bakery App - Free Drink or Loaf with First Purchase

Overview

New GAIL's Bakery app users get a free drink or free loaf of bread of their choice when they make their first paid purchase through the app. The free options include any regular barista-made drink or a standard loaf — usually worth £4–£5.

You also get a free sweet treat voucher every year on your birthday once you add your DOB.

How to Claim

1. Tap the 'Get This Offer' button on this page — the welcome reward is tracked from this click
2. Download the GAIL's Bakery app on the App Store or Google Play
3. Sign up with an email address that has never been used with GAIL's Bakery before — the welcome code must be entered during signup (it can't be added afterwards)
4. Check the app wallet — the welcome voucher (free drink or loaf) appears after signup
5. Visit any GAIL's bakery, make a paid purchase, and scan the welcome voucher at the till
6. The free drink or loaf is taken off the bill

Requirements

• New GAIL's Bakery loyalty member only — voucher is one-per-account
• Must sign up via the link on this page to unlock the welcome voucher — code must be entered during signup (codes can't be added later)
• Must make a paid transaction alongside redeeming the voucher (it doesn't cover the whole order)
• Welcome voucher must be redeemed within 2 months of issue — expired codes can't be reinstated
• In-store only at participating GAIL's bakery locations — NOT redeemable on website orders, Deliveroo or Uber Eats

Important Terms

• Choose either a free regular barista-made drink OR a free standard loaf — not both
• Drink exclusions: pre-packaged drinks, extra espresso shots, whipped cream and extra modifiers are not included (dairy-free alternatives are included at no extra cost)
• Loaf exclusions apply — premium / specialty seasonal loaves may not qualify; standard loaves are covered
• Cannot be combined with any other offer — last-entered promo wins at the till
• Birthday treat: add your DOB in the profile — a sweet treat voucher is added each year on your birthday (separate from the welcome voucher)

Tips

• Loaf is usually higher £ value (£4–£5) than a basic coffee — go loaf if you bake at home or have a freezer
• Drink wins if you're only there for the coffee — pick a larger size (latte / mocha) to max value
• Add dairy-free milk for free if you prefer it — it's included at no extra charge
• Stack with the birthday voucher if your birthday is near — bank both within weeks (note: only one offer can be redeemed per visit)
• Check the app weekly — GAIL's drop occasional in-app freebies (free pastry with coffee, BOGO promos)
