Santander Rewards Credit Card – Up to £40 in Uber Vouchers

Overview

Santander is giving new customers up to £40 in Uber vouchers (two £20 vouchers) for opening its fee-free Rewards Credit Card, adding it to a digital wallet and using it 10 times in the first month. The card also pays 3% cashback on everyday travel, dining and takeaways for the first year (0.25% on everything else, and on all spending after year one), paid monthly.

How to Claim

1. Click the link on this page and use Santander's eligibility checker first (soft search, no credit score impact).
2. Apply for the Rewards Credit Card and get approved, then activate the card.
3. Add the card to a digital wallet (Apple Pay / Google Pay) and make at least 10 purchases within the first 30 days of opening — any amount, physical card or wallet.
4. Santander checks your account 30 days after opening and, if you qualify, emails your first £20 Uber voucher invitation within a further 30 days. Keep the card open for 30 days after claiming it and the invitation for the second £20 follows.
5. Claim each voucher on the rewards portal within 60 days of the invitation and add it to your Uber account — you then have 3 months to use it on Uber rides or Uber Eats (including groceries, but not alcohol).

Requirements

• Not an existing Santander customer — holding any Santander product (current account, mortgage, savings, another card) makes you ineligible for the vouchers
• UK resident, 18+, minimum £10,500 annual income
• Full credit check on application; no bankruptcy, CCJ or IVA in the last 6 years
• Card activated, added to a digital wallet and used for 10 purchases within 30 days of opening
• Account still open 30 days after the first voucher to receive the second

Important Terms

• Offer applies to cards opened from 9 July 2026; vouchers are limited in number and the offer can be withdrawn at any time
• The 3% cashback covers fuel, EV charging, trains, buses, restaurants, cafés and takeaway deliveries — monthly caps apply, and balance transfers, cash withdrawals, foreign-currency purchases and gambling don't earn cashback
• Representative 24.9% APR (variable) — interest would dwarf the vouchers if you carry a balance
• A hard credit search appears on your file — don't stack multiple card applications close together

Tips

• Planning a Santander bank switch or another Santander new-customer offer? Do that first — once you hold this card you count as an existing Santander customer and lose eligibility for their new-customer deals
• Set up a Direct Debit to repay in full each month so the card never costs you anything
• Ten tiny contactless purchases (a meal deal, a coffee) clear the requirement in a week — just make sure the card is in your phone wallet first
• Route your commute, takeaways and fuel through the card for the first year to stack the 3% cashback on top
