Uniqlo – Free Knitwear Repairs (17–18 October)

Overview

To mark International Repair Day, Uniqlo is fixing its own knitwear for free across its RE.UNIQLO Studio stores on Saturday 17 and Sunday 18 October 2026. Bring in a well-worn Uniqlo jumper, cardigan or cashmere piece and the in-store team will repair it at no cost — each repair is covered up to £20.

How to Claim

1. Pick a Uniqlo knitwear item that needs fixing (a small hole, loose threads, a split seam or bobbling).
2. Take it to a Uniqlo store with a RE.UNIQLO Studio on 17 or 18 October.
3. Staff check the garment and, if it's suitable, repair it for free.

Where

UK RE.UNIQLO Studios are at Regent Street, Covent Garden and 311 Oxford Street (London), Manchester and Edinburgh. Not every Uniqlo shop has a studio — check before you travel.

• An original Uniqlo knitwear garment
• Visible wear or damage from normal use
• Staff must agree it can be repaired

Important Terms

• Free repairs are capped at £20 regular value per garment
• Services include small hole repairs, loose thread repairs, seam repairs and pilling removal
• Only on 17–18 October 2026; capacity depends on staff availability

Tips

• Go early in the day — repairs are done by hand and queues can build.
• Repairs normally start from around £3.50, so this is most worth it for bigger jobs like seams or several holes.
