Tesco – Free Apples for Kids at the Checkout

Overview

Tesco is running its Free Fruit for Kids giveaway across the summer holidays: children can pick up a free apple at the checkout in more than 800 large Tesco stores and 77 large Express stores, every visit, from 20 July to 30 August 2026 — no purchase needed.

How to Claim

1. Click the link on this page to find your nearest large Tesco store.
2. Shop as normal (or just pop in) with your kids during the offer period.
3. Pick up a free apple for each child at the checkout.

Requirements

• Available in participating large Tesco stores and 77 large Express stores across the UK.
• Intended for children — it's the checkout replacement for sweets aimed at families.

Important Terms

• Runs 20 July to 30 August 2026.
• Subject to availability in each store.
• Selected stores also give free apples to children with Click & Collect orders.

Tips

• It's per visit, not one-off — a couple of shops a week over the six-week holiday adds up to a fair bit of free fruit.
• Combine with Tesco's Kids Eat Free café scheme over the holidays if your store has a café.
