National Trust – Free Family Day Pass

Overview

The National Trust is giving away 10,000 free family day passes for summer 2026. One pass gets 2 adults and up to 3 children (or 1 adult and up to 4 children) free entry to a participating National Trust property in England, Wales or Northern Ireland — couples and solo visitors can use one too. Passes are typically worth up to £50 for a family.

Passes are first come, first served from 23 July — a previous batch of 130,000 went in days, so claim yours quickly.

How to Claim

1. Tap the 'Get This Offer' button to open the claim form
2. Fill in your name and email, and pick any newsletter option from the dropdown
3. Click CLAIM NOW — your pass is emailed to you with a barcode and redemption instructions
4. Pick a participating property, check whether it needs advance booking, and show the emailed pass at the entrance

Requirements

• UK residents (England, Scotland, Wales and NI), aged 18+
• One pass per household
• Claim by 23:45 on Thursday 30 July 2026 — or earlier if all 10,000 go

Important Terms

• The pass is single-use and valid until Friday 28 August 2026, any day of the week within opening hours
• Valid at participating National Trust properties in England, Wales and Northern Ireland — check the participating list before travelling, as entry can be refused at excluded venues
• National Trust for Scotland properties are not included
• Adults are 18+, children 5–17; under-5s go free at National Trust properties anyway
• Excludes car parking charges
• Some properties require advance booking — check the property's website before visiting
• No cash value, can't be used towards membership, and can't be resold or transferred

Tips

• Download or print the pass email before you go — mobile signal at many properties is patchy
• Book-ahead properties can't guarantee entry without a booking, so check before setting off
• Under-5s are free anyway, so a "family" pass stretches further than it looks for young families
