Dscout – Get Paid for Research Missions & Usability Tests

Overview

Dscout is a research platform used by thousands of brands to get feedback from real people. You apply for paid missions — surveys, short video responses, diary studies and live usability tests — and the platform says participants earn about $1 per minute on average.

How to Claim

1. Click the link on this page to open Dscout and sign up as a participant ("scout").
2. Complete your profile and the screening questions so you're matched to suitable studies.
3. Apply for missions that fit you — each one shows the tasks, estimated time and reward before you commit.
4. If you're selected, complete the tasks and your reward is sent to your PayPal account.

Requirements

• A PayPal account (all rewards are paid via PayPal)
• Smartphone with the Dscout app; some studies also use a computer
• Willingness to record short videos for many missions

Important Terms

• You apply for missions and won't be selected for every one.
• Pay varies by mission — longer, more involved studies pay more. Rewards are often listed in US dollars.
• Researchers review submissions before paying, so rewards usually arrive after a short review period once you've finished all the tasks.

Tips

• Fill out your profile thoroughly to be matched with more missions.
• Video and multi-part diary missions tend to pay the most.
• Respond quickly to invitations — spots fill up fast.
