NX Rewards

10% cashback online and 2% in-store via receipt — a paid subscription cashback platform, but stripped back in 2026

3.1/5

Overview

NX Rewards is a subscription-based cashback platform operated by Webloyalty International Limited — the same company behind Complete Savings. It offers higher cashback rates than free alternatives like TopCashback — typically 10% online and 2% in-store — and the ~£18/month subscription fee can be reclaimed every month via the Monthly Bonus.

Important update (2026): NX Rewards has been stripped back. eBay (removed December 2025), Argos and Master of Malt have all gone, and the 20% off £100 One4All gift card benefit is being discontinued from 16 July 2026. The Monthly Bonus and remaining online/in-store cashback continue.

If you're signing up fresh, consider Complete Savings instead. It's the same company at the same price, but it has kept eBay, Argos and the discounted gift cards that NX Rewards removed. See our Complete Savings guide for the free sign-up method. NX Rewards still makes sense if you already hold an account in good standing and use its remaining partners.

If you stay on top of the monthly bonus submission, NX Rewards can still offset its fee through online and in-store cashback. If you forget about it, you'll be paying ~£18/month for nothing.

How to Sign Up

The old direct sign-up link is broken (nxbus.co.uk/.../nx-rewards) and there's no public sign-up form. Worse, simply buying a National Express ticket now often pops up Complete Savings instead. The reliable route:

  1. Buy any National Express coach ticket (cheap city-to-city fares work)
  2. Open the booking-confirmation email and scroll below the ticket details
  3. Tap the cashback link — that takes you to NX Rewards account creation
  4. Your first month is a free trial; the first ~£18 charge hits on day 31

Alternatively, some members report the NX bus app shows a 'join NX Rewards' prompt with no purchase needed (it's inconsistent — you may get a Complete Savings ad instead).

Watch out: During signup you may be offered "My Time Rewards" — a separate subscription from the same company. Decline it unless you specifically want it.

What You Get Each Month

10% cashback online — Browse partner retailers on the NX Rewards website, click "Shop Now", and complete your purchase. Cashback tracks via cookies, similar to TopCashback. Remaining partners include Boots, M&S, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Trainline (but eBay, Argos and Master of Malt have been removed).

2% cashback in-store — Shop at a partner retailer in-store, then email a photo of your receipt (with your membership number) to cashback@nxrewards.com. The receipt must show the retailer name, items, price, and date.

Monthly bonus (subscription fee refund) — Submit a qualifying purchase and get your ~£18 subscription fee refunded. More on this below.

Gift cards (until 16 July 2026 only): The 20% off One4All gift card benefit (£80 for £100) is being discontinued from 16 July 2026. Until then, members can still buy one £100 One4All gift card per calendar month at £80. After that date, Complete Savings is the place that still has discounted gift cards.

The Monthly Routine

To keep NX Rewards net-free, you need to claim the Monthly Bonus every calendar month. Historically any partner-retailer receipt was accepted, but recent sign-ups report the bonus being tied to a National Express purchase — so to be safe:

  1. Make a National Express purchase (a cheap fare works)
  2. Go to Benefits → Monthly Bonus on the NX Rewards website
  3. Submit your order confirmation (or email it to monthlybonus@nxrewards.com)
  4. Your ~£18 fee is refunded within a few days

You must do this before the end of each calendar month. If you forget, you lose that ~£18 with no way to reclaim it. Set a monthly reminder.

Tips for the monthly bonus:

  • Online order confirmations are preferred — in-store receipts are accepted but have been rejected for some users
  • Refunding or cancelling the qualifying purchase claws back the bonus, sometimes much later
  • The receipt must show the retailer name, what you bought, the price, and the date

How Cashback Tracking Works

NX Rewards works like TopCashback — it tracks your purchases via cookies when you click through their website.

To maximise tracking success:

  • Always click "Shop Now" on the NX Rewards website before purchasing
  • Use a clean browser and clear cookies before each click-through
  • Do NOT use retailer apps — only shop via the web browser
  • Avoid discount codes unless they're listed on NX Rewards
  • Do not use ad blockers while shopping through NX Rewards

If cashback doesn't track: Email cashback@nxrewards.com with your order confirmation and membership number. Tracking is unreliable, so keep your confirmations.

How to Cash Out

Cashback is paid to your bank account automatically once you have £5 or more. Payouts typically process within 2 weeks of the cashback being confirmed.

Welcome bonuses and monthly bonuses are credited to your linked payment card.

Retailers Available

NX Rewards still has hundreds of partner retailers, but the list has shrunk in 2026. Notable inclusions:

  • Supermarkets: Sainsbury's, Tesco, Asda (George at Asda)
  • High Street: Boots, M&S, Currys, New Look, River Island, WH Smith
  • Travel: National Express, Trainline, Transport for Wales, TPE, Omio, Virgin Atlantic
  • Food: Deliveroo, Nando's

Notable exclusions: eBay (removed December 2025), Argos and Master of Malt (removed 2026), plus Amazon and Booking.com. All of eBay and Argos remain available on Complete Savings.

Common Issues and How to Avoid Them

Website errors: The NX Rewards website is notoriously buggy. Error 500 pages are common. Try again later or use a different browser.

Receipt rejections: The most common reason for rejected claims is a receipt that doesn't clearly show the retailer name, item, price and date. Use order confirmation emails for online purchases.

Account verification: Some users are asked to provide ID if NX Rewards flags "unusual activity". Providing the documents usually resolves it.

Tracking failures: A large share of purchases — members report a third to a half — may not auto-track. Keep order confirmations and be prepared to email their cashback team.

Cancelling NX Rewards

Get confirmation of your cancellation in writing. Don't pay third-party 'cancellation services' for something you can do free. Note you generally can't hold both NX Rewards and Complete Savings at once.

Is NX Rewards Worth It?

With eBay and Argos gone and the One4All gift card hack ending on 16 July 2026, NX Rewards' value has narrowed to cashback and the refundable monthly fee. For regular online shoppers who can commit to the monthly bonus routine, 10% online plus 2% in-store can still offset the subscription. For everyone else — especially new sign-ups — Complete Savings is the better route in 2026, since it still has the retailers and gift cards NX Rewards dropped.

Best for: Existing NX members in good standing who shop regularly at its remaining partners and reliably claim the Monthly Bonus.

Pros

  • 10% cashback online at remaining partners — higher than TopCashback or Quidco
  • 2% cashback on in-store purchases via receipt submission
  • Monthly subscription fee can be fully refunded each month
  • Payouts typically within 2 weeks
  • Stacks with other cashback methods (Zilch, Airtime Rewards, credit card offers)
  • First month is a free trial with a welcome bonus worth ~£17

Cons

  • Stripped back in 2026 — eBay, Argos and Master of Malt all removed (still on Complete Savings)
  • 20% off One4All gift card benefit ends 16 July 2026 — removes the biggest single saver
  • Direct sign-up link is broken; buying a coach ticket often serves Complete Savings instead
  • ~£18/month fee — must manually claim the refund every month or you lose it
  • Website is notoriously buggy with frequent Error 500 pages
  • Cashback tracking is unreliable — a third to a half may not auto-track
  • Receipt rejections are common and customer service can be slow

Our Verdict

NX Rewards earns a 3.1/5 from us. Has niche value but comes with notable drawbacks — approach with caution.

Best for: Anyone who shops online regularly. Sign up and start earning on purchases you're already making.

NX Rewards — frequently asked questions

How do I sign up for NX Rewards?

The old direct sign-up link is broken and there's no public sign-up form. Buy any National Express coach ticket, then open your booking-confirmation email and tap the cashback link below the ticket details — that takes you to NX Rewards account creation. Your first month is a free trial. Note that buying a coach ticket now often pops up Complete Savings instead, which is the sister scheme and for most people the better route in 2026. Decline the separate 'My Time Rewards' subscription unless you specifically want it.

Should I join NX Rewards or Complete Savings?

For most new members, Complete Savings. They're the same membership from the same company (Webloyalty) at roughly the same price, but NX Rewards has removed eBay, Argos, Master of Malt and its discounted gift cards (the One4All 20% deal ends 16 July 2026), while Complete Savings has kept them. NX Rewards is only worth choosing if you already hold an account in good standing. See our Complete Savings guide for the free National Rail sign-up method.

Does NX Rewards work with Argos?

No longer. Argos has been removed from NX Rewards in 2026, along with eBay (December 2025) and Master of Malt. Argos and eBay are both still available on Complete Savings, the sister scheme. Remaining NX partners include Boots, M&S, Currys, Sainsbury's, Tesco and Trainline.

Is eBay available on NX Rewards?

No. eBay was removed from NX Rewards in December 2025. It is, however, still available on Complete Savings — the same company's sister scheme — which is why many members have switched over. Amazon and Booking.com are not available on either.

What happened to the NX Rewards One4All gift card offer?

Members could buy one £100 One4All gift card for £80 each calendar month (20% off) — historically the single biggest saver on the platform. NX has confirmed this benefit is being discontinued from 16 July 2026. Until then it still works; after that, Complete Savings is the place that still has discounted gift cards (though those are rumoured to be ending too).

Is NX Rewards worth it?

Less than it used to be. With eBay and Argos gone and the One4All gift card hack ending 16 July 2026, the value narrows to 10% online and 2% in-store cashback offsetting the ~£18 refundable fee. For organised regular shoppers on its remaining partners it can still pay off. For new sign-ups, Complete Savings is the better route in 2026.
