Overview

New TrainPal customers in the UK get £5 off any train ticket of £5.01 or more using a promo code. TrainPal is a UK rail booking app (iOS / Android) with the same fares as the train operators, no booking fees, and built-in split-ticketing on longer journeys. Code is app-only — won't work on the website.

How to Claim

1. Tap the 'Get This Offer' button on this page — opens TrainPal
2. Download the TrainPal app on the App Store or Google Play
3. Create a free TrainPal account — enter the code shown on this page: MSE5OFF in the "Promo code (optional)" box during sign-up
4. If you missed the box at sign-up, open the app → Account tab → Promo codes → enter MSE5OFF
5. The £5 voucher lands in your wallet — you have 7 days to book a ticket
6. Pick any UK train ticket of £5.01 or more — the voucher applies at checkout
7. Pay and check out

Requirements

• New TrainPal customer — defined as someone who has never purchased through TrainPal before (previously signed up or downloaded the app but never bought? You still qualify)
• UK mobile device (iOS or Android)
• Basket subtotal of at least £5.01 before the voucher
• Code redeemed and ticket booked before the 11:59pm 31 Dec 2026 cut-off

Important Terms

• App-only — the code does not work on the TrainPal website or mobile browser
• Discount: £5 off the ticket — no booking fees on TrainPal, so the £5 comes straight off the fare
• Booking window: 7 days from the day you claim the voucher; miss the window and the £5 is gone
• Travel window: anytime once the ticket is booked
• Code expires 11:59pm Thursday 31 December 2026 — TrainPal may withdraw or change the code earlier
• One use per new account — can't be stacked with other promo codes

• Cheapest hit: pick the smallest ticket you'd actually use (≥ £5.01) — a £5.10 single becomes ~10p, effectively a free short hop
