The Co-operative Bank - £200 Switch Bonus

Overview

The Co-operative Bank is offering £200 for switching your current account: £125 upfront, then £25 a month for three months while you keep meeting the requirements. (An extra £100 loyalty bonus for existing Co-op, smile and Coventry Building Society customers ran over summer 2026 but ended on 17 August 2026.)

How to Claim

1. Open a Standard Current Account or Everyday Extra account via the 'Get This Offer' button
2. Complete a full switch from another bank using the Current Account Switch Service (CASS)
3. Within 30 days: pay in at least £1,500, make 5 debit card transactions, hold 2 active Direct Debits, and register for online or mobile banking
4. Receive £125 once the initial criteria are met
5. Keep meeting the same requirements each month to earn £25 a month for 3 months (£75 more)

Requirements

• Full CASS switch from another provider
• Pay in at least £1,500 per month (can be multiple payments)
• At least 5 debit card transactions per month
• At least 2 active Direct Debits
• Register for online or mobile banking
• Not eligible if you've benefited from a Co-operative Bank switch offer since November 2022

Important Terms

• No fixed end date, but the offer can be changed or withdrawn at any time
• Both the Standard Current Account (free) and Everyday Extra (packaged, monthly fee) qualify
• FSCS protected up to £85,000

Tips

• The Standard Current Account has no monthly fee — the simplest route to the full bonus
• Two small Direct Debits (e.g. a charity donation and a savings app) are enough
• The 5 debit card transactions can be small contactless payments
• Money paid in doesn't need to stay — deposit £1,500, then move it as needed
